Train
There's no train connection with the airport of the Chilean capital.
Car and bus
Santiago Airport is situated 18 kilometers west of the city center. The airport is easily accessible by rental car via the Costanera Norte, a toll road which runs from west to east through the Chilean capital. The airport can also be reached via Santiago's ring road, Autopista Vespucio Norte Express (exit 18).
Every ten minutes a bus of Centropuerto (Tel. +56(0)2 601 9883) leaves for Los Héroes subway station. There are also regular bus services to the Tur Bus (Tel. +56(0)2 822 7741) terminal in the city, from where you can continue your journey by city bus or subway. Travel time takes 30-40 minutes.
Car rental Santiago Airport
At the baggage claim area but also in the central hall you can find counters of car rental companies. Six rental companies are present at Santiago Airport: Avis, Alamo/National, Hertz, Budget, Econorent and Rosselot. You can also book a rental car in advance using the service provided by EasyTerra; they compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.
Taxi
Two taxi companies are officially allowed at Santiago Airport: Taxi Oficial and Taxi Vip. Both have counters in the central hall and in the Arrivals Halls. Inside the terminal you'll be approached by unofficial taxi drivers, but various signs warn about using this 'service'. Travel time to Santiago's center is about 30 minutes, if you take the toll road.
Airport Parking
The parking garage is directly connected with the terminal. Shuttle buses run from the open-air long-term parking lots to the terminal. More information about parking at Santiago Airport can be obtained via telephone number +56(0)2 601 9168.
