Hotels
There are no hotels at La Paz Airport. The nearest hotels are at a few kilometers east of the airport, such as the Ritz All Suites Hotel (Tel. +591(0)2 243 3131) and Hotel Rosario (Tel. +591(0)2 2451 658). Other hotels in La Paz include Hotel Europa (Tel. +591(0)2 231 5656) and Hotel Camino Real (Tel. +591(0)2 244 1515). For more hotels and to book online, you can go to Booking.com. They offer a large range of hotels, at competitive internet rates.
Shops and restaurants
La Paz International Airport has a fair number of eating and drinking facilities, including a restaurant, (snack) bars and ice-cream parlors. There's a duty-free shop in the international Departure Hall, but other than that you'll mainly find souvenirs at the airport.
Baggage
There are lockers to store your baggage. The lost-and-found counter can be found near the baggage claim area.
Information
In the central hall there's an information desk for inquiries about El Alto Airport, flight schedules and airport services. There's also a Tourist Office, where you cannot only obtain brochures about places to see but also book a hotel room.
Business
There are three VIP lounges at El Alto Airport offering basic facilities like faxing and copying. Extensive business facilities are offered by the larger hotels in the city, including the Ritz Hotel (see Hotels) which has meeting space and conference rooms available.
Disabled facilities
La Paz Airport has good accessibility for the disabled. There are wheelchair ramps and adapted elevators and toilets.
Other services
You'll find several banks at La Paz Airport: Mercantil Santa Cruz, Mutual la Primera, Banco de Crédito, Banco Nacional de Bolivia and Banco Bisa. There are also exchange offices and ATM's in the Arrivals Hall of the international terminal. Several travel agents are also present in the Arrivals Halls of both the international and the domestic terminals. The First Aid station can be found in the Arrivals Hall of the international terminal.
