Hotels

There are no hotels at the airport, the closest hotel is the Ibis Aero (tel: +36(0)1 347 9715), approximately 12 kilometers from the airport and not for from the center of Budapest. There are shuttle buses to two hotels: Hotel Stadion (tel: +36(0)1 889 5200) and Hotel Mercure Museum (tel: +36(0)1 485 1080). Shops and restaurants

The shops and restaurants are negatively judged by many travelers. There may possibly be changes now that BAA has such a large interest in the airport. There are plans to substantially increase the number of shops and restaurants and improve what is already there.

Baggage

Baggage safes are available in the Arrivals Hall of Terminal 2B (tel: +36(0)1 296 8802). For lost and found items (tel: +36(0)1 296 5665).

Information

There are counters for general information and tourist information in the Arrivals Halls. At the Passenger Service Desk you can buy tickets for buses or taxis and reserve hotel rooms.

Business

In Terminals 2A and 2B there are offices and meeting rooms that are available to rent through the Business Center (tel.: +36(0)1 296 7357), catering service is also offered.

Business Class passengers can make use of the Cirrus Lounge (tel: +36(0)1 296 5933) on the first floor of Terminal 2B, free internet connection is available as well as the opportunity to use the fax and copy machine.

Disabled facilities

Wheelchairs are available to use, free of charge. A few restrooms have been adapted for the disabled. There are some parking places reserved for the disabled, near the terminals.

Other services

There are banks, money exchange offices and ATM's. There are smoking rooms in Terminals 2A and 2B.

Aircraft Park is half a kilometer from Terminal 2, where old Hungarian airplanes are exhibited (tel: +36(0)630 914 5531), entrance price is HUF 350 for children and HUF 600 for adults.
