Train

There is no direct train to the airport. There are bus services from the airport to Frankfurt and other German towns (see below).

Car and bus

The airport is located about 120 kilometers from Frankfurt am Main. From Cologne take the A61 to Mainz/Ludwigshaven, exit Rheinbollen. Take the B50 until the exit Frankfurt Hahn.

There is a regular bus service to and from Frankfurt, but also to other German towns. The busses to Frankfurt leave from bus stop 22 of the bus station in front of terminal A. The trip to Frankfurt costs EUR 12.00, to Cologne EUR 15.00. Tickets are for sale on the bus as well as at the ticket booth in front of the terminal. Car rental Frankfurt Hahn Airport

There are several branches of car rental agencies at the airport: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Buchbinder, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt. You can also book a rental car in advance at EasyTerra, this website compares several car rental agencies and their rates simultaneously.

Taxi

Taxicabs are available in front of the terminal. You can book a taxi with several companies, such as Taxi am Hahn (tel. +49(0)6 543 3514) or Taxi Konrad (tel. +49(0)6 543 2010).

Parking at the airport

At the airport you can choose between short and long term parking. Short term parking is available at P0, P1 and P5 (EUR 2.50 per hour or EUR 18.00 per day). Long term parking is available at P2, P4, P7 and P8 (EUR 2.00 per hour or EUR 7.00 per day). There is a free shuttle bus service between the parking areas and the terminal.
