Frankfurt Hahn Airport

Frankfurt Hahn is an international airport situated in the German Bundesland Rhineland-Palatinate. The airport is located west of Kirchberg at about 120 kilometers from Frankfurt am Main. The airport was built by the Allied Forces after WWII. Hahn is the name of one of the districts where the airport was constructed. The airport is used for passenger and cargo transport since 1993 and handles approximately 4 million passengers and 170,000 tons of cargo annually.
