Shops and restaurants
Tokyo Haneda International Airport offers a large number of shops, restaurants (Japanese, Chinese and western food), cafés and (snack) bars. There are also several vending machines. On the top floor there's a restaurant with a nice view of the flight movements. With good weather the open-air roof terrace is open. Travelers arriving at or departing from the airport at night complain that most restaurants and shops are closed at night.
Baggage
There are baggage lockers in both the Arrivals and Departure Halls of the International Terminal. For lost-and-found objects you need to turn to the information desk. There's also a porter service (Tel. +81(0)3 6428 0658).
Information
In the International Terminal there are three information desks (Tel. +81(0)3 6428 0888), recognizable by a pillar with a question mark. Here you can inquire about the airport and flight schedules. There are also stewards who you can recognize by their emerald green jackets.
Business
There are four so-called Deluxe VIP Room Lounges, suitable for small meetings. For reservations you call +81(0)3 6428 0677. Larger conference rooms are available in Terminal 1. The JAL City Haneda Hotel, just west of the airport, offers extensive business facilities (see Hotels).
Disabled facilities
Tokyo Haneda Airport has excellent accessibility for the disabled. There are adapted elevators and toilets, and you can rent wheelchairs at the information desk. This desk can be reached by telephone via the special telephones at several locations (for example at the parking facilities). At the parking lots places have been reserved for disabled travelers, which cost only half the normal rate.
Other services
There's a clinic, including a First Aid station (Tel. +81(0)3-5708-8011), on the ground floor of the terminal. There are also banks, exchange offices and ATM's at several locations. You have free access to wireless internet, or you can, upon payment, use one of the pc's. You can find children's playgrounds at gates 109 and 113. On all floors of the International Terminal you'll find smoking rooms.
