Hotels

There are no hotels at Macau Airport, but there is one at the airport's entrance road, Golden Crown China Hotel (Tel. +853(0)28 851 166). Other hotels nearby the airport include the Regency Hotel‎ (Tel. +853(0)28 831 234), Grand Hyatt Macau Hotel‎ (Tel. +853(0)28 681 234), Hotel Taipa‎ (Tel. +853(0)28 821666) and Westin Resort Macau (Tel. +853(0)28 871 111).

Shops and restaurants

There are only a limited number of eating and drinking facilities at Macau Airport. There are only two restaurants, one before and one after customs. In addition, quality is poor. Although the Chinese dishes are somewhat reasonable, you better stay away from Western dishes in these restaurants. The number of shops is also limited. You will find a large King Power Duty Free Shop.

Baggage

You'll find lockers in the Departure Hall for which you pay 20 patacas per 24 hours. There's a lost-and-found desk in the Arrivals Hall.

Information

There's an information desk in the central hall for inquiries about flight schedules and airport services. However, not all staff is fluent in English.

Business

The Airport Lounge offers basic facilities such as faxing, copying and internet access. You can also make international calls. Extensive facilities are offered by the hotels and casinos in Macau. There are plenty of possibilities to rent meeting space and (sometimes huge) conference rooms.

Disabled facilities

Macau Airport has good accessibility for the disabled. There are wheelchair ramps, adapted elevators and toilets, and also low-hanging telephones.

Other services

There are several banks that not only change money but also offer other financial services. Exchange offices can be found both before and after customs; ATM's are scattered around the terminal building. There are also two smoking areas. These are special, because they aren't poky little rooms as you'll find at other airports, but open areas where the smoke is contained by an 'air curtain'.
