Local transport

Train

There are no trains on the Seychelles. A few years ago it was proposed to build a light rail system along the busy east coast (with a stop at the airport) but so far these plans haven't been implemented.

Car and bus

Seychelles International Airport is situated 10 kilometers southeast of the capital Victoria, right on the coast. The airport is easily accessible by rental car. The 5th of June Avenue runs straight from the large intersection south of the city to the airport.

There's a bus stop outside the terminal, on the 5th of June Avenue. About every half hour a bus passes to Victoria.

Car rental Seychelles Airport

You can find counters of car rental companies in the Arrivals Hall of the international terminal. Several rental companies are present at Seychelles International Airport, including Budget, Hertz and Thrifty.

Taxi

Taxis can be found outside the Arrivals Hall. A ride to the center of the capital Victoria costs about 75 rupees. At night a surcharge is added of 25 rupees.

Airport Parking

There's a parking lot near the terminal. There are places for short and long-term parking.
