Hotels

There are no hotels at Asunción Airport. The nearest hotels are Hotel Portal del Sol‎ (Tel. +595(0)21 609 395), Hotel Ibis (Tel. +595(0)21 620 1000), Hotel Westfalenhaus‎ (Tel. +595(0)21 292 374) and ApartHotel Porta Westfalica‎ (Tel. +595(0)21 298 906). The Guarani Esplendor Hotel Asunción‎ (Tel. +595(0)21 452 099) is a business hotel. For more hotels and to book online you can go to Booking.com. They offer a large range of hotels at competitive internet rates.

Shops and restaurants

There's one restaurant before customs and another one in the Departure Hall. There are also some cafés, (snack) bars and shops, including a duty-free shop and many souvenir shops. The number isn't overwhelming.

Baggage

There are lockers in the central hall to store your baggage. There's also a counter to deposit your baggage. For lost objects you need to turn to the information desk.

Information

There's an information desk in both the Arrivals and Departure Halls for inquiries about Asunción Airport, flight schedules and airport services.

Business

There's a small meeting room near the VIP Room, but Asunción Airport doesn't offer any further business facilities. The business hotels in the capital, including the Guarani Esplendor Hotel (see Hotels), offer extensive business facilities.

Disabled facilities

Asunción Airport has reasonable accessibility for the disabled. There are wheelchair ramps and adapted toilets and some places are reserved for the disabled on the parking lot.

Other services

You'll find banks, exchange offices and ATM's scattered around the terminal. There are also internet cafés and wireless internet (Wi-Fi) is available. The First Aid station can be reached via the information desk or the general telephone number +595(0)21 213 012.
