Train
There is no train connection to Houston Hobby Airport.
Car and bus
William P. Hobby Airport is located 11 kilometers to the southeast of Houston on the I-45 and is easy to reach. The exit to the airport is clearly indicated.
From Curbzone 8A, public METRO buses depart for various destinations in Houston. You can also take the shuttle buses provided by SuperShuttle (tel: +1(0)713 523 8888).
Car rental - Houston William P. Hobby Airport
The car rental company's desks are located at the baggage handling area: Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, Enterprise, National and Thrifty. You can also book a car in advance at EasyTerra, which offers a comparison of several providers.
Taxi
There are taxis at the exit near the baggage handling area (Curb Zone 3). There are fixed rates to destinations in Houston, but if the amount displayed on the meter is lower, that is what you pay. The fixed rate to the center of Houston is $22.00, at night (20:00-06:00), there is a $1.00 surcharge.
Airport Parking
The four floor car park is connected directly to the terminal building. Up to five hours parking only costs $1.00 an hour, after which the daily rate of $15.00 applies. The Parking Cents parking area is located immediately next to the car park, within walking distance of the terminal, there, the first three hours cost $2.00, after that $6.00 a day. Up-to-date information about parking is provided by radio station 1610 AM, but can only be received close to the airport.
