Train

There's no train connection with Guadalajara Airport.

Car and bus

The airport is situated 17 kilometers southeast of Guadalajara. The airport is easily accessible by rental car: from Guadalajara you follow the freeway (road number 23) in the direction of Chapala. The exit to the airport is clearly signposted.

A minibus (Servicio Colectivo) leaves every half hour from the airport for Guadalajara.

No less than eleven rental companies are present at Guadalajara Airport: Avis, Budget, Hertz, Europcar, Executive, National, Optima, Security, Sixt, Thrifty and U-Save. Taxi

In the Arrivals Hall there are kiosks where you can book and pay for a taxi. A taxi ride to Guadalajara's center costs about 200 pesos, to Chapala or Ajijic (both on Lake Chapala) about 400 pesos. You can book a taxi via +52(0)33 3688 5925.

Airport Parking

There's a parking lot near the terminal building. For the first hour you pay 25 pesos and after that 23 pesos per hour. The rate for the first full day is 374 pesos and after that 186 pesos per day.
