Train
As of 2012, well in time for the European Championship Football, Kiev Airport will have a train connection with the city center. There will be a station in the new terminal D and another station near the older terminals.
Car and bus
The airport is situated just west of Boryspil and 29 kilometers southeast of Kiev. The Ukraine's capital is easily accessible by rental car. The airport lies just off highway M03 which leads to the suburbs of Kiev.
Buses 316 and 316E run to the Boryspil's center. For those wanting to take the bus to Kiev the POLIT shuttle buses are the best option. These leave the airport every 20 minutes and run via the Boryspilska Road, the Harkivska subway station, the Koskovka Square (central bus station) and the Urytsky Street to Kiev's train station.
Car rental Kiev Airport
You can find counters of car rental companies in the Arrivals Hall. Three rental companies are present at Kiev Airport: Avis, Europcar and Hertz. You can also book a rental car in advance using the service provided by EasyTerra; they compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.
Taxi
In the Arrivals Hall Taxi Auto Ukraine (Tel. +380(0)44 296 7318) has a kiosk where you can book a taxi at a fixed rate. A taxi ride to Kiev's center takes 30-40 minutes. Attention: both inside and outside the terminal you'll be approached by unofficial taxi drivers and people wanting to carry your baggage. Don't take notice of them. Especially the carriers are known for charging ridiculous prices for their 'service'.
Airport Parking
There are several parking lots near the terminals at Kiev Airport with places for short and long-term parking. Shuttle buses run from the more remote parking lots to the terminals. You pay 10-15 hryvnia per hour.
