Train
The Aeroexpress connects the airport with Belorussky train station in Moscow. The trip takes 35 minutes.
Car and bus
Sheremetyevo Airport is situated 29 kilometers northwest of Moscow. Travel time between the airport and the Russian capital amounts to about thirty minutes outside rush hour, but during rush hour it can easily take up to two hours. In your rental car you take the Leningradskiy Prospekt from the center of the Russian capital to the northwest. The road connects with the Leningradskiy Shosse (freeway M3) which leads to the airport. The exit to the airport is clearly signposted.
Buses 851 and 851e (express bus) connect Sheremetyevo Airport with subway station Rechnoi Vokzal in Moscow. Bus 817 runs to the subway station Planernaya. You can also reach these two subway stations by minibus (marshrutka).
Car Rental Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport
You can find the counter for car rental in the Arrivals Hall of Terminal F. There's only one rental company present at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport: Hertz. For most rental cars the driver needs to be at least 25 years and have at least 1 year driving experience. Taxi
There are two taxi companies present at Sheremetyevo Airport. At the international Terminal F you'll find taxis of Transparking. There are fixed rates. A ride to Moscow's center costs 1,800 rubles.
Airport Parking
There are plenty of parking facilities at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport. The long-term parking lots can be found to the right of the entrance road to the airport. There's a short-term garage right in front of Terminal F. On the airport's website you can find a map showing the various parking lots.
