Local transport

Train

There is a shuttle bus that runs between the nearest train station and the terminal. You will get to the airport in 4 minutes. For more information please visit the Norwegian Railways website or contact (tel. +47(0)81 500 888).

Car and bus

The airport is situated about 10 kilometers from downtown Sandefjord and about 118 kilometers south of Oslo. From the E18, take the Fokserød exit, north of Sandefjord. The airport is clearly indicated on road signs.

The local bus service runs to Sandefjord every hour. The Telemarkekspressen (tel. +47(0)35 065 400) goes from Seljord to Tonsberg via several stops (for instance, the Sandefjord railway station and the Sandefjord Torp Airport). The Torp Express Bus service (tel. +47(0)81 500 176) runs between the Oslo bus station and Sandefjord Torp and stops at several places on the way. The bus times are coordinated to Ryan Air's flight schedule. A bus ride takes about 2 hours and costs NOK 130.00. Tickets for the Express bus are available at the service desk.

Car rental Sandefjord Airport

There are several car rental agencies at the airport: Avis, Budget, Europcar, National and Hertz. You can also book a rental car in advance at EasyTerra, this website compares prices of multiple car rental companies simultaneously.

Taxi

Taxicabs are available in front of the terminal. You can book a taxi with several companies, for instance with Vestfold Taxisentral (tel. +479(0)33 42 0200) or with Tønsberg Taxi (tel. +479(0)33 42 0200).

Parking at the airport

There is a parking garage with 460 parking spaces next to the terminal. One hour costs NOK 35.00, one day costs NOK 150.00. In addition to that there are also outdoors parking spaces. The long term parking area has 1720 spaces and costs NOK 25.00 per hour and NOK 120.00 per day. You can also park short term in front of the terminal for NOK 25.00 per hour.
