Verona-Villafranca Airport

Verona Airport is officially called Valerio Catullo di Verona Villafranca, but is generally referred to as ‘Verona-Villafranca’. It was originally a military airport, and the western part is still used by the Italian Air Force. The airport works together with the Brescia-Montichiari Airport under the name Aeroporti Sistema del Garda.

Verona processes two million passengers a year but the terminal is not really meant for this amount of people. Count on long wait times in the high season.
