Olbia Airport

Olbia lies on the Costa Smeralda in the northeast of Sardinia, one of the most beautiful coastlines on the Mediterranean Sea. It is a popular holiday destination for the rich and famous, but you can also find backpack tourists. The rough and rocky coast attracts active travelers for hiking and climbing. The terminal at Olbia Airport was completely renovated in 2004 to better support increasing passenger counts. The airport is used by some budget airlines, but it is not used by Ryanair. Ryanair flies out of Alghero in the northwest of Sardinia.
