Train
There's no direct train connection with the airport. The nearest train stations are those of Biarritz and Bayonne.
Car and bus
Biarritz Airport is situated five kilometers southeast of the city center. The airport is easily accessible via the D260; also known as Boulevard du B.A.B. Directly south of the airport freeway A63 connects Bordeaux with San Sebastian in the Basque Country in Spain. The airport entrance lies on the D810 which connects with the A63 leading to Biarritz in the other direction.
Busses from the company Chronoplus leave from the airport to the train station in Biarritz (line C, traveling time approx. 10 minutes) and the train station in Bayonne (line 8A/8B, traveling time approx. 30 minutes). The company ATCRB also runs to the train station in Biarritz and then to Bidart, Guéthary, St-Jean-de-Luz and Hendaye.
Bus company PESA leaves once a day at 15.30 from the airport to San Sebastian in Spain.
Car rental Biarritz Airport
In the Arrivals Hall of Biarritz Airport you'll find five car rental companies: Avis, National-Citer, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt. You can also book a rental car in advance using the service provided by EasyTerra; they compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.
Taxi
Taxis are available just outside the Arrivals Hall. For a ride to Biarritz' center you should count on a price of approximately € 12.00, to Bayonne it's a few Euros more.
Airport Parking
On all parking lots at Biarritz Airport you can park the first 30 minutes for free. Parking lot P3, for short-term parking, lies directly outside the terminal. The first hour costs € 1.50, the second € 2.50 and the third € 3.50. Adjacent are two parking lots, P0 and P8, where you pay € 15.00 for one day and € 75.00 for ten days. The long-term parking lot lies next to the airport's entrance; the rates are €11.50 for a day and € 55.00 for ten days.
