Hotels

On the airport grounds lies the Abu Dhabi International Airport Hotel (Tel. +971(0)2 575 7377). It's a small hotel (30 rooms), but equipped with all facilities, including a restaurant, children's playroom, sauna, fitness center and a business center. There are no other hotels near the airport; the nearest hotels are in Abu Dhabi, including Al Maha Rotana Suites (Tel. +971(0)2 610 6666), Grand Continental Flamingo Hotel (Tel. +971(0)2 690 4000) and Le Meridien Abu Dhabi (Tel. 971(0)2 644 6666). Shops and restaurants

At Abu Dhabi Airport there are various places to eat and drink. The restaurants offer Arab and international dishes. There's also a large shopping center where you can find duty-free shops as well as many specialized shops, ranging from Arab souvenirs and specialties to international designer brands.

Baggage

In the Arrivals Hall you can find lockers and a counter to deposit baggage. Near the baggage claim area there's a counter for lost and found items (Tel. +971(0)2 505 2771).

Information

In all terminals you can find information desks for inquiries about the airport, flight schedules and airport services. You can also ask questions to employees walking around. The Tourist Office has a counter in the Arrivals Hall.

Business

The business center of the Abu Dhabi Airport Hotel offers basic facilities such as faxing, copying and internet access. To rent meeting space or conference rooms you have to turn to the nearby Abu Dhabi Airport Golf Club (Tel. +971(0)2 575 8040) or the hotels in Abu Dhabi (see Hotels). Abu Dhabi Airport also has four VIP lounges (plus two lounges only open to important guests or upon request). 

Disabled facilities

Abu Dhabi Airport has excellent accessibility for the disabled. There are wheelchair ramps, adapted elevators and toilets, and also low-hanging telephones. For assistance call +971(0)2 575 7466.

Other services

You can find banks, exchange offices and ATM's scattered around the terminals. There's a First Aid station in Terminal 1 (Tel. +971(0)2 5053661). There's also a small mosque in the Airport Hotel.
