Hotels

There are two hotels at the airport, both owned by the Sheraton hotel chain: the Jakarta Airport Hotel (Tel. +62(0)21 559 0008) inside the terminal and the four-star hotel Sheraton Bandara (Tel. +62(0)21 559 7777). Just outside the airport you'll find the FM 7 Resort Hotel‎ (Tel. +62(0)21 559 1177) and the Ellia Bandara Hotel‎ (Tel. +62(0)21 555 0970). Other hotels nearby the airport include Hotel Aston Cengkareng‎ (Tel. +62(0)21 5435 61660), The Batavia Hotel‎ (Tel. +62(0)21 690 4118) and Shangri-la Hotel Jakarta‎ (Tel. +62(0)21 570 7440). Shops and restaurants

In the international terminal shops are concentrated on the so-called Plaza Bali. There are duty-free shops, branches of international (design) brands and of course shops with typical Indonesian products, including batik. Prices by the way aren't extremely low. It's often cheaper in town or elsewhere in Indonesia.

There are also a large number of eating and drinking facilities at Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

Baggage

In Hall D of the international terminal you'll find baggage lockers and a counter to deposit your baggage. There's a lost-and-found counter in the Arrivals Halls of both terminals.

Information

In all terminals you'll find information desks for inquiries about flight schedules and airport services. There are also Tourist Office counters in terminals 2 and 3.

Business

There are several VIP lounges at Jakarta Airport where you can fax, copy and access the internet. The Sheraton Hotel (see Hotels) at the airport offers extensive business facilities and has meeting space and conference rooms available.

Disabled facilities

Jakarta Airport has reasonable accessibility for the disabled. There are wheelchair ramps and adapted elevators and toilets.

Other services

There are banks, exchange offices and ATM's and in the domestic terminal there's a small post office. Telephones can be found everywhere and you can make free local calls in the waiting rooms of the Departure Hall. The First Aid station can be reached via the information desks or directly via one of the telephones. There are also baby rooms and silence rooms, including prayer rooms for Muslims. There's an internet café at the Skynet coffee shop.
