Train

There are no trains on Bali.

Car and bus

The airport is situated 13 kilometers south of the Balinese capital Denpasar, 3 kilometers from Kuta Beach and 7 kilometers from Seminyak. The airport is easily accessible by rental car; there are good roads to both Kuta and Denpasar. These roads are however often very busy; the ride to Denpasar can easily take half an hour or more.

Outside the terminal there are busses which maintain the connection with Denpasar, Kuta and other popular tourist places.

Car rental Bali Denpasar Airport

There are counters of car rental companies in the Arrivals Hall. Four rental companies are present at Bali Airport: Hertz, Europcar, Thrifty and Toyota Rent-a-Car. There's another supplier, Blue Bird, who rents out chauffeur-driven cars.

Taxi

Outside the Arrivals Hall there's a counter where you can book a taxi. There are set rates for various destinations. You pay at the kiosk and show your receipt to the taxi driver. An indication of rates: Denpasar 70,000-90,000 rupees, Kuta 45,000 rupees and Ubud 200,000 rupees.

Airport Parking

Outside the terminal lies a large parking lot with a capacity for over 2,000 cars.
