Kunming Wujiaba International Airport

Kunming Airport is the gateway to what many consider to be the kindliest province of China. The airport lies close to the city center which leaves little room for expansion. Therefore a new airport, Kunming Xiaoshao International Airport, is being built east of the city. Once finished, Wujiaba will be closed. The new airport will be the fourth-largest of China (after Beijing, Shanghai-Pudong and Guangzhou).
