Train

There is no train connection with Antananarivo Airport.

Car and bus

Antananarivo Airport is situated 14 kilometers north of the capital's center. The airport is easily accessible by rental car. From the city you follow the Rue Docteur Joseph Raseta north. It joins highway 4, where the exit to the airport is clearly indicated.

There's a regular bus service between the airport and Antananarivo's center. The Hilton Hotel also maintains a shuttle bus connection with the airport.

You can find counters of car rental companies in the Arrivals Hall. Various rental companies are present at Antananarivo Airport, including some local ones but also international providers like Avis, Budget and Hertz.

Taxi

There are taxis outside the arrivals Hall. The price for a ride to Antananarivo's center can vary considerably, depending on your negotiation skills. Whichever price you agree upon, make sure to agree in no uncertain terms!

Airport Parking

There's a parking lot outside the terminal. There are no separate places for short or long-term parking, but we definitely advise against leaving your rental car here at night.
