Train

There's no train connection with Sharm el-Sheikh Airport.

Car and bus

The airport is situated 18 kilometers northeast of Sharm el-Sheikh and 10 kilometers from the popular Na'ama Bay Beach and is easily accessible by rental car. The airport lies on the El-Salam Road which leads to Na'ama and continues to Sharm el-Sheikh. The road is quite busy; as an alternative you can take the Ring Road.

Officially a minibus connects the airport with Sharm el-Sheikh, but it's not clear if there really is such a bus.

Car rental Sharm el-Sheikh Airport

There are no counters of car rental companies in the Arrivals Hall. Sixt has a representative in the Arrivals Hall. Other car rental companies have counters in hotels near the airport, such as Avis, Budget and Hertz. You can also book a rental car in advance using the service provided by EasyTerra; they compare the rates of several providers in a single quote.

Taxi

There are no taxis outside the Arrivals Hall. If you walk via the parking lot to the road you'll be approached by taxi drivers. The official rate to Na'ama Bay is 40 Egyptian pounds. That's already a steep price for a five-minute ride, but drivers will ask much more. You need to negotiate hard and agree firmly on a price.

Airport Parking

Outside the terminal there's a parking lot with places for short and long-term parking. We advise against leaving your car here at night.
